Fish_Butter_Masala
Ingredients:
Fish - 5 pieces
Onion - 1/4 cup (Chopped)
Bay leaves - 2 nos
Ginger & Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Kashdhoori methi - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
butter - 1 tbsp
Yogurt - 2 tsp
Milk - 2 tbsp
To Grind:
Onion (Medium) - 2 nos
Tomato - 2 nos
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
Mint leaves - 10 nos
Cashewnuts - 10 nos
Green chilli - 3 nos
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
cloves - 3 nos
Cardamam - 3 nos
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Poppy seeds - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Method:
* Wash the fish well and just bake it for 20 min in 350 degree F.
* Grind the above "To Grind" Things as a paste and keep it aside.
* In a Kadai heat oil and butter. Add Bay leaves then add chopped onion. Let onion fry until light brown.
* Then add Ginger and Garlic paste. Fry it until raw smell is gone.
* Now add Ground paste and fry it for 2 min. Add little water. Add salt and close with lid, let it cook for 15 min in low flame. (Stir it every 3 mins once)
* Once start butter/oil separates from the gravy, Kasthuri methi stir well.
* Add yogurt. Then add Milk and stir well. Now add baked fish and close with lid. Make it flame in high and keep it for 3 min.
* Add few chopped tomato and little butter at last (Tomato shouldn't cook). Then add Coriander leaves.
* Serve it hot with Roti, chappathi and rice :)
