Palak_Keerai_Kuzhambu


Ingredients:
Palak Keerai - 2 bounch
Small Onion - 10 nos or shallots - 5 nos
Red chilli - 5 to 7 nos
Tomato - 2 nos
mustard seeds, black gram dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
* Clean the keeraiand wash them well in running water or tap water. Remove unwanted leaves in them and again wash them. Chopped the palak roughly and Keep it aside.
* Heat oil in a wide mouth pan, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, red chillies, curry leaves and little salt.
* Add Onions and fry it for a while.
* Now add tomoto and little salt. Fry it well.
* Then add Palak,Cumin seed,Coriander seeds (Break it roughly using your palms) Add salt and alow them to cook well.Close with lid.
* Palak will leave water, so no need to add water. If u required add little water.
* Once it done, use big spoon or keerai maththu to mash it well.


Note: It will go with hot rice with ghee, Dosa and idly very well. :)
