Prawn_Palak


Ingredients:
Prawns - 1 lb
Palak/Spinach- 1 bunch or 1 cup
Onions Chopped - 1 no
Green chilli - 4 nos
Ginge & Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Tomato Chopped - 1 no
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Bay leaves - 2 nos
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp

To Grind 1:
Patta/cinnamon - 1"
Cardamom - 3 nos
Grambu/cloves - 3 nos

To Grind 2:
Cashewnuts - 8 no
Poppy seeds/kasakasa - 1 tsp


Method:
* Clean the palak and Shrimp well.
* Boil hot water and put the palak in it. Close with lid for 10 min. (if we do like this the palak color won't change). Make it cool and grind it well.
* In a pan add oil and ghee, Once it hot add bay leaves and fry the chopped onion and G.Chilli.
* Once onion is done add Grind 1 (cinnamon,Cardamom,Grambu/cloves) Paste. and fry it well.
* Now add tomato and fry for 5 min.
* Then add cleaned shrimp. Add coriander powder,Turmeric powder, Chilli powder and Garam masala. Mix it well.
* Close with lid and allow to cook this for 5 to 8 min.(while cooking the shrmp water will come out - cook until the water will go off)
* Now add Grind 2 paste. mix it well.
* Now add Grind palak paste, add lemon juice and allow to for 10 min.
* Serve it got.
