Mor_Kuzhambu (ButterMilk Curry)
Ingredients:
Beaten curd-1 & 1/2 cup
Water to dilute it
Salt to taste
To Grind:
Coriander seeds- 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1 & 1/2 tsp
Red chillies - 1 no
Green chilli - 2 nos
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 3 nos
Grated cocunut- 2 tsp
To Season:
Oil - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 sp
Red chillies/Green chilli - 2/2 nos
mustard seed-1 teaspoon
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1"
Curry leaf-little
Onion (Option) - 1/2 chopped
Method:
* Make the diluted curd (Butter milk), add salt and keep it aside.
* Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds,urad dal,Green chilli,ginger,cumin seeds, turmeric powder and fry those for a while. Add chopped onion and fry it until brown.
* Now add Ground paste with little water. Let it boil well.
* Then add Butter milk into this mix and put off the stove.
* Serve it hot with white rice.
