Ingredients:
Mutton or Chicken - 1 lb
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Cinnamon stick - 1"
Cordamom - 3 nos
Cloves - 2 nos
Star anise - 2 no
To Grind:
Ginger - 2"
Garlic - 6 cloves
Red Chilli - 6 nos
Sombu - 1 tsp
Method:
* First clean and cook the chicken(half cook is enough)/Mutton with turmeric and salt. Keep it aside.
* Grind the above things roughly.
* In a kadai add oil, once oil is hot add cinnamon,cloves,cardamom and star anise.
* Then add cooked mutton/chicken, mix it well.
* Then add coconut milk,coriander leaves and salt.Let it boil for a while.
* Then add the above Ground things into this masala. Bring it to boil.
Note: It's go with Appam,Idiyappam and idly very well.
