Mullangi_Chutney (Radish chutney)


Ingredients:
Radish (mullangi) - 1 no (big size)
Onion - 1/2 no
Small onion - 5 nos
Red chilli - 5 nos
Curry leaves - few
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Coconut - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp

Method:
* In pan heat 1/2 tsp of oil, add mustard seed.Once it pop up add urad dal, once it turn light golden color,add red chilli and curry leaves.fry it for a while. Add coconut and fry little. Keep it aside.
* In the same pan add 1/2 tsp oil, Add radish (Cut it as small pieces)and fry until it turn golden color. Keep it aside.
* In the same pan heat 1/2 tsp oil and fry onions (sliced) and fry well.
* Add Tamarind and salt into it.
* First Grind red chilli fry and then add radish, onion mix. Grind it well as chutney.


Note: It goes with Hot Rice,Idly,Dosa and Chapati very well.
