Vazhakkai_Varuval ( Raw Plantain)


Ingredients:
Raw Plantains - 1 no
Curry leaves - few
Oil - 4 tbsp

To Grind:
Coconut - 2 tbsp
cloves - 2 nos
cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Ginger - 2 inch
Garlic cloves - 6 nos
Pepper corn - 10 nos
Sambar powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste

Method:
* First Grind all the ingredients given under list 'to grind' everything as fine paste and keep it in a bowl.
* Peel the outside skin of raw plantain and cu it as round slices.Mix this Plantain into that masala (Paste) and keep it for an hour.
* Then heat 2 tbsp of oil in a non stick cookware,Once it hot add curry leaves. Then add mix into hot oil.
* Let it cook in low flame. After half cook add 2 tbsp of oil.Allow to Cook until plaintains and masala turn brown.
* Serve it hot with Rasam or Sambar satham.
