idly_Kuzhambu


Ingredients:
Onion - 1 no (Sliced)
Green Chili - 3 nos
Tomato - 2 nos
Coriander Leaves 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil 3 tbsp
Cinnamon Stick 1 stick
Cloves/Grambu- 2
Curry Leaves

For Grinding:
Roasted Channa dhal / Pottu Kadalai - 2 tbsp
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Red Chilli - 3 nos
Cinnamon Stick - 1" inch
Cloves - 2 nos
Ani seeds/ Sombu - 1 tsp
Garlic - 5 clove


Method:
* Grind all the above Ingredients("For Grinding")as paste and keep it aside.
* In Kuruma pan add little oil. Once it hot add Ani seeds,cinnamon stick and Cloves.
* Then add onions, Once onion fried add tomato and cook it for a while.
* Then add Grind paster and add 2 cup of water.Add salt and Let it boil well.
* Add Coriander and romove from the stove.
* Serve it hot.

Note: This Kongu nattu special. In our hometown almost they cook this everyday for breakfast and dinner. It wwill go with Idly and dosa very well. if u want u can add mashed potatoes at the last.
