Semiya_Payasam



Ingredients:
Semiya (Vermicelli) - 1 cup
Milk - 2 cup
Water - 1 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2 cup
Cardamom (Elakkai) - 3 nos
Cashewnuts - 10
Raisins (thirasai) - 8
Ghee - 5 tbsp

Method:
* In a pan fry semiya along with little ghee.
* Then soak this fried samiya in 1 1/2 cup water and keep it aside for a while. (The semiya will be very soft)
* Keep it in the stove with that water.
* Once it half cooked add milk , sugar and cardamom.
* Once it cooked make the stove in low flame.
* In another small pan add ghee and heat it. Then add Cashewnuts and Raisins.
* Then add into that cooked payasam.
* You can serve payasam.
