Goa_Chicken
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 lb
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 6 nos
Cloves - 3 nos
Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
Onion - 2 nos
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
sugar - 1 tsp
To Grind:
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chillis - 10 nos
Ginger - 1 "
Garlic - 1o pods
Cinnamon - 1 "
Cardamam - 3 nos
Method:
* Clean and cut the chicken and add little salt. Keep it aside.
* Soak tamarind in 1/2 cup of water and extract of thick tamarind juice.
* Grind as fine paste the above 6 Grind things together and keep it aside.
* In a pan add oil. Once it heat add Cut onions and fry it. Then add chicken and fry it well. Then add water and close with lid. Let cook it until chicken get soft.
* Once it soft add Grind paste, coconut milk,Tamrind extract, Sugar. Then cook it for 10 more min in low flame.
* Once it thick switch it off.
* Serve it hot.
Note: It will go with rice very well.
